Through a combination of teaching and coaching, Mitchell enables singers to perform in their most authentic and truest artistic form. Utilizing voice science and practical exercises, Mitchell works to give singers the confidence to sing long-term in a free and healthy manner in the styles of Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM), musical theater, pop, rock, and more.
In addition to voice training, Mitchell assists in studio recording, repertoire selection, audition preparation, performance opportunities, and artist development.

Mitchell began training in music recreationally at a young age, and moved into a music profession in 2014 when he began directing junior high show choir, senior high show choir, and musicals at a private school in the South, helping lead these groups to nationally recognized success. During his years of directing, he found that his real passion lied within helping others find their truest individual form of artistry with their voice. In 2019, Mitchell began following this path of teaching through private lessons. His singers have auditioned for and been seen in various popular spotlights, including American Idol, Broadway, and other talent searches.
Mitchell is the owner of 601 Studios, Artistry Development, a place where students of all ages engage in private, small group, and large group lessons in Jackson, Mississippi. At 601 Studios, teachers and instructors offer instruction in voice, piano, guitar, acting, and more.
